Well, Northwest was by far the best team we have played this season, but defensively we still allowed very little. They generated 5 shots all game with none really dangerous.
BWhite named Jay Johnston the BWhite Player of the Match. Jay highlighted that solid D tonight.
Offensively we were poor in our 4-3-3. We scored on Velasco's long throw. It deflected off their player before going in.
Now second half, playing in our diamond, we did generate more chances: 10 shots (6 first half). And honestly we had a 2-3 balls that were harder not to finish than to finish.
So, once again we scored only off set pieces.
So, once again we scored only off set pieces.
We will meet an opponent in Wichita East in the finals who we have seen earlier this summer. We were missing 2-3 guys but the match did go to a shootout that we won with our 6th kicker. So we will see if we have improved any.
